Scotline invites you to tour to mysterious Loch Ness, with an option to visit Urquhart Castle and take a boat cruise on this legendary stretch of water. We Leave Edinburgh at 08.00hrs and explore some of the most beautiful and dramatic areas of Scotland. After a morning coffee stop at Kilmahog, we travel through Rob Roy Country and arrive at the Weeping Glen of Glencoe, the infamous site of the 1692 Massacre, for a photo stop. after another short drive we arrive at Fort William for lunch. Fort William is in the shadow of Ben Nevis - Britain's highest mountain. We then continue to Spean Bridge where we have an opportunity to view and photograph The Great Glen. From here we follow the Caledonian Canal to Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. The Castle provides a superb vantage point to see the deepest part of the loch. Here you can enjoy an optional visit to the 12th Century castle and take a short cruise on the Loch. On our homeward journey, we pass by Inverness, through the Grampian Mountains and beautiful scenery to your refreshment stop. We continue our journey through Perthshire until we come to the famous Forth Rail Bridge before arriving in Edinburgh at approximately 20.30 hrs at Waverley Bridge where the tour ends.
