Experience the search for the Holy Grail and the making of Whisky
This tour departs from our Office at 87 High Street on the Royal Mile at 10.15 hours and we
make our way to ROSSLYN CHAPEL. The Chapel is unique and known world wide for its
beauty, its carvings and of course the aura of mystery and magic which is present in this magnifi
cent building. Also with it's MASONIC and KNIGHTS TEMPLAR Association and the legend of
the HOLY GRAIL. This is further enhanced by the recent best selling book and movie “THE DA VINCI CODE”.
After your visit to this historic place we make a stop for lunch. From here we travel east to the charming East
Lothian village of PENCAITLAND, where GLENKINCHIE DISTILLERY is situated. This is the only remaining
MALT WHISKY DISTILLERY in the Edinburgh area. It is surrounded by the rolling hills and fresh water
burns of the LAMMERMUIR HILLS whose soft waters contribute to the classic taste of this fine malt
whisky. On our guided tour we will learn about traditional distilling methods and have a chance to
sample Scotland’s national drink. After we
leave the distillery we will make our way
back to Edinburgh for 16.00 hours.
