The Whisky Experience
Experience the making of Scotland's national drink....
"FREE admission to Glenkinchie distillery."
Our tour starts with a short drive to Glenkinchie Distillery, a working malt whisky distillery. The guided tour provides information on how Scotland's national drink has been made since 1840. A taste of the Glenkinchie Single Malt is included to remind you of your visit. You can also visit an exhibition of malt whisky in the museum.
Afterwards we drive through the beautiful East Lothian countryside passing Haddington and St. Mary's Church dating from the 14th century. We continue to North Berwick with the Bass Rock in the distance, home to thousands of seabirds.
After a lunch stop our journey takes us past Dirleton Castle famous for its walled gardens. We then pass Muirfield championship golf course and Musselburgh, a small fishing town with superb views of the Firth of Forth before arriving in Edinburgh.
