3 Day Tour to The West Highlands, Loch Ness & The Isle of Skye

(Easter to October only)

Take time to visit not just the West Highlands and the Isle of Skye but Loch Ness, Inverness and Loch Lomond. Add Castles, Glens, magnificent mountains and scenery and you are promised an unforgettable experience.

The price includes transportation and a fully guided tour. Your accommodation will be booked for you but is not included in the price of the tour.

Day 1

We leave Edinburgh and travel via Stirling where you can see the Castle and the Wallace Monument in the distance. We continue through Rannoch Moor to Glencoe where we stop for photos, this is the site of the famous battle in 1692. From there we arrive at Fort William, our stop for lunch. We continue to Loch Ness and Fort Augustus where we take a short boat trip if you wish. After driving the length of Loch Ness we arrive at Inverness for our overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast we leave Inverness and head west to Kyle of Lochalsh. After visiting Eilean Donan Castle we cross the bridge to the mystical Isle of Skye. After lunch we take the ferry crossing from Armadale to Mallaig, passing the silver sands of Morar to Glenfinnan for a stop, this area was used in the Harry Potter films. Tonight we stop in Fort William on the shores of Loch Linnhe and in the shadow of Ben Nevis.

Day 3

The day starts with a scenic drive to Oban, view the Falls of Lora and drive along part of Scotland's longest loch to stop for a photo at the ruins of Kilchurn Castle, the former seat of the Clan Campbell. Our next stop is Inveraray, a pretty town on Loch Fyne. Here you will see the chateau style Inveraray Castle, the present seat of the Clan Campbell. Our next stop is Loch Lomond, we drive along its Bonnie Banks, Scotland's first National Park before heading back to Edinburgh through Glasgow.
